How Premium and Signature work

Prices are starting points. After a short call we send a written quote with the scope, timeline and total. A 50% deposit books your project, and the rest is due when you approve the finished site, before launch. Refunds follow the Website Build rule: cancel before we start work and your deposit comes back in full. Once work has started, cancel before launch and we keep 50% of the quoted price and refund anything you've paid above that. Hosting and Website Care are quoted separately. Not included in the $249 Build

Pages beyond 5, online stores, payments, booking or logins, custom integrations, a logo, professional photos, paid ads, other languages, domain registration fees (about $10 to $20 a year, paid by you at cost, in your name), and changes after launch. See the add-ons below for most of these.

A new look doesn't guarantee rankings or a number of calls, and we don't promise either. Most small businesses are well served by the $249 Website Build.

Refunds, in plain words

  • Website Build: cancel before we start work on your site and you get all your money back. Once work has started, cancel before launch and you get 50% of the build price back. Once your site is live (or handed over, for the $499 build-only), there's no refund on the build, but you get 14 days of fixes. If we can't deliver what we put in writing, you get a full refund at any time.
  • $99 Website Fix: if we can't make the fix pass the check we agreed on, and can't correct it within 7 days, you get your money back.
  • $99 Google listing: full refund if Google won't verify or accept the changes within 30 days, as long as we've both followed Google's steps.
  • Monthly plans: cancel online any time, or by email or phone (Manage or cancel your plan). Cancelling takes effect at the end of the month you've paid for. If you cancel before anything is published or delivered, we refund the first month.
  • Premium and Signature builds follow the Website Build rule: cancel before we start work and your deposit comes back in full. Once work has started, cancel before launch and we keep 50% of the quoted price and refund anything paid above that.
  • Add-ons follow the same rule as the job they're added to. Ordered on their own, they follow the Website Build rule.

Refunds go back to your card through Stripe, usually within 2 business days of your request. Full details are in the service terms.

Questions

Do I have to sign up for a monthly plan?

A new website comes with Care at $49/mo, which covers hosting and upkeep, and the site is yours after 12 paid months. Prefer no monthly? Buy it outright for $499. Social plans are monthly and optional.

Can you get me to the top of Google or into ChatGPT answers?

No one can honestly promise that, so we don't. Google and AI tools decide what they show. What we do is the steady work that helps: an active Google Business Profile, consistent listings, more reviews, and clear answers on your site. Your monthly report shows what changed.

When do I own my website?

After 12 paid months of Care, the site is yours. You can cancel any time, with no remaining months owed. If you cancel before then and don't buy it out, the site goes offline after the paid period. Want it sooner? Buy it out any time for the months left in your first year at $49 each, plus a $150 fee, never more than $499. At 12 paid months, your site is yours; Care continues month to month only if you want it. Your domain and the materials you give us are yours from day one.

DMH Web Studio is based in Petaluma, CA and works with businesses of all sizes across the US. Everything can be done remotely, by phone and email.

Do you use AI?

Yes. We use AI tools to help write, build and check the work, which is how we keep prices low. You always deal with a real local business, DMH Web Studio, owned by Dylan Hromek, and you see and approve the work before it goes live.

Do I need to send passwords?

No. Please don't email passwords. For your Google listing or social pages, you add us as a manager from your own account, and we show you how.
